2. The basic liquid of e-liquid
The main ingredient of e-liquid, is also flavors. The base liquid is not a substance, but is made by mixing propylene glycol (PG) and vegetable glycerin (VG) in a certain proportion (without specific restrictions). Some basic liquids will also contain deionized water, sweeteners and even vodka....... Propylene Glycol (PG):
Common drugs and food additives, hygroscopic, slightly sweet, odorless, colorless and transparent, fluidity is similar to water, and safe for humans. PG is mainly used to "carry most of the flavor of e-liquid" and produce "a small amount of mist" and "throat hit".
Vegetable glycerin (VG):
More common drugs and food additives (commonly used to make cakes, chocolates and other desserts) are very hygroscopic, sweeter than PG, odorless, colorless and transparent, and have a fluidity similar to edible oil.
VG is mainly used to generate "a lot of fog".
VG has no side effects on the human body, but due to its viscous nature, it will slightly increase the difficulty of cleaning the atomizer and reduce the speed of the core oil.

The flavors need to dilute in PG/Vg first, the Mix ratio is 5%-10%,
mint flavors 5%, Tobacco flavors 8%, Fruit concentrates10%.
For Russian, the ratio may need more 8%-12%
Sweetener:
used to increase the sweetness of e-liquid.
Such as sucralose, neotame... and other powdered sweeteners;
Liquid sweetener is a diluted powder sweetener solution with PG as a solvent,
Deionized water:
Some people also use distilled water instead, mainly to slow down the thickness of high-VG e-liquid.
Vodka (optional):
It seems that many people use this to improve the throat hit.
In general:
Affect the throat sensation: the higher the PG content, the stronger the throat sensation, the higher the nicotine concentration, the stronger the throat sensation. Some spices will also increase the throat sensation (such as mint flavor)
Affect the amount of smoke: the higher the VG content, the greater the amount of smoke.
Affect the taste: the higher the nicotine content, the less noticeable the taste. The higher the PG content, the more obvious the taste, and vice versa. The more flavor, the more obvious the taste.
Affect softness: the stronger the throat hit, the less soft it is.
